Burnt Timber Releases Dimon’s Corner Cider
Paying homage to Wolfeboro’s historic roots as a farming community, Burnt Timber Brewing & Tavern has released Dimon’s Corner Cider (ABV 5.5%), a semi-dry cider aged on bourbon soaked oak staves with maple. “Dimon’s Corner was the hub of activity in Wolfeboro long before what we consider its center today, which is the downtown, of course,” remarked Owner Eddie Michno.
The cider is the latest in a line of ciders and beers that often reference local scenery. “If anything, the names of our beers and ciders can spark a conversation,” added Michno, who said Burnt Timber has also recently released its winter menu. “While we have remained true to our brand -- salt, smoke, and ferment -- we have introduced some new items that might be considered comfort food.”
