Burnt Timber Releases Do Bretter

Do Bretter

A hop-forward farmhouse ale…

Reflecting their continued focus on brewing eclectic farmhouse ales, Burnt Timber Brewing & Tavern has released Do Bretter (7.5% ABV), a hop-forward farmhouse ale co-fermented with Saison yeast and Brett C yeast. The beer is brewed with motueka and nelson sauvin hops from New Zealand.

“It’s well-balanced, and the aroma is all pineapple with a light tartness from the Saison and Brett C,” said Burnt Timber Owner Eddie Michno. “The beer is unique because you get the pineapple aroma from the Brett C and the fermentation of the sugars rather than from the hops.”

The end result, according to Michno, is “a highly approachable” beer. “It’s great for people who like IPA’s, or some hoppier beers, but have never tried something like this before,” he added.
