Burnt Timber ‘Catering’ to a Wider Audience

Catering

“We want to be able to meet the needs of visitors and locals.”

Known for its ‘funky’ beers and eclectic food menu based on the concepts of ‘ferment, salt, and smoke,’ Burnt Timber Brewing & Tavern is now offering both on and off-site catering.

According to Burnt Timber Owner Eddie Michno, current available catering options include a pig roast, take away taco bar, and on-site grilling. “Chef Ollie and I have been working very intentionally to raise the level of our food,” he said. “We are literally catering to a wider audience now.”

Burnt Timber’s move into catering serves as a precursor to expansion plans this summer. “We are working out some details, but our seating capacity will most likely double,” added Michno. “As the popularity of Wolfeboro grows, we want to be able to meet the needs of visitors and locals.”

In the short-term, Michno said their current BBQ Road Trip continues through March with the next stop in Kansas, featuring dry-rubbed ribs with Kansas City barbecue sauce. Since the middle of February, Burnt Timber has taken guests on a culinary journey that each week features BBQ with flavors inspired from a different region of the United States. The nearly 6-week BBQ Road Trip concludes on Wednesday, March 30 with a special 4-course dinner at Barn at Pickering House in collaboration with Pavilion Executive Chef Jonathan Hudak.

“It’s been a great ‘trip’ so far this winter, so we look forward to what’s next this spring and summer,” said Michno.
